BOSTON – Mintz today announced the launch of a new abortion hotline offering legal guidance and resources to callers, moving to further defend abortion access in light of the Dobbs decision and passage of the new Massachusetts provider protection law.

Mintz helped represent Christina Griffin-Jones in a case challenging a lengthy police seizure of her cellphone without a warrant following her arrest at a Black Lives Matter protest. As part of a July 2022 settlement, the City of San Diego agreed to a new policy requiring officers to either obtain a warrant to hold or search any phone they seize, or to promptly return the phone.
